Darlene

Darlene has shared the stage with legends in the music industry including Chubby Checker, Darlene Love, Artimus of Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Chops Horns, and The Funk Brothers. As a studio musician, she recorded the background vocals for Gloria Gaynor’s latin version of I Will Survive and various background tracks for country music artists.Darlene is best known as the blonde in the legendary Tri-State girl group The Party Dolls where she performed at some of the top venues across the country including the Philadelphia Convention Center, PNC Arts Center, The Taj Mahal, and House of Blues. Additional lead vocal credits include wedding/corporate and club bands from Manhattan to Philadelphia.

eric

One word is often associated with Eric’s voice: soulful. He combines the smooth and sultry elements of artists like Al Green and Stevie Wonder, with the contemporary pop technique of singers like Usher and Miguel. Eric is versatile, possessing a unique ability to perform any song while keeping the authenticity of his own style. Music is his whole life; if Eric isn’t performing, then he’s recording and mixing music of his own or producing music for other artists in his local area. Eric continues to move forward into a successful music career keeping in mind a simple mantra: dream big and enjoy the process.

chuck

Chuck, our founding member, bassist and backing vocalist, draws his musical influences from seminal talents such as Yes’ Chris Squire and Paul McCartney.Like Sir Paul, he is also a lefty. Chuck’s extensive musical background had it’s beginnings performing in numerous high school bands then went on to tour the Northern Florida bar circuit during the mid-1980’s. His musical styles range from Classic/Alternative Rock to Blues. Chuck is musically adept at playing 4 string, 5 string, and 8 string basses. For the last 15 years he has been the driving force behind Mid-Life Crisis and has been instrumental in establishing it’s roots in the Morristown live music scene as well as expanding it to Central and Southern Jersey.

rob

Rob Ferraro, our lead guitarist has been playing guitar since he was 13 years old, and was influenced by guitarists such as Slash, Randy Rhodes, Eric Clapton and Zakk Wylde. He studied briefly under Mike Chlascik who was in bands such as Sebastian Bach, Rob Halford and Testament. Rob has played lead guitar in several cover bands since early 90s throughout New Jersey.

Rob is not limited to simply being in cover bands he has also written and performed several of his original songs and has worked alongside Music Producer Tony Christopher of One Bridge Music, where he did studio session work for many other artists albums over the last 10 years. Always the consummate perfectionist, Rob’s effortless guitar solos are an asset to the band.

dom

Dominick’s quiet demeanor belies his fierce drum chops. From northern NJ, he has been playing the drums since the age of 9 and credits listening to his father’s music growing up as a catalyst for his musical inspiration. His drumming influences include Dave Weckl, Carter Beauford, Chad Sexton, and Chad Gracey among many others. Dominick also lends his musical talents to original projects and sometimes fills in for other local acts.

lisa

Lisa has over 20 years of performing experience and has toured professionally as a singer, dancer and entertainer. Her musical influences are talented female artists such as Janis Joplin, Lady Gaga, Sara Barellis, Halestorm, Evanescence and Joni Mitchell.

Lisa grew up in a family of musicians, dancers and performers. She attended The Performing Arts High school in Rochester, NY and earned her BFA in Musical Theater and Dance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

vic

Vic has been a member of Mid-Life Crisis for 15 years, and has performed with MLC throughout its many incarnations. Vic lends his smooth acoustic guitar sound and unique vocal style to the band. His wide range of musical styles/influences include The Beatles, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Smashing Pumpkins to name a few. Vic has been playing acoustic guitar and performing solo for the better part of 40 years. Besides keeping busy with MLC, he performs solo for church, charitable events and fundraisers.
